ST JOHN'S CHURCH

          ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH:-This photograph was taken in 1944, during the war.  Note that the windows are boarded up.  This of course was my family church where most of my mother's  side of the family were baptised, married or had their funerals for the last 200 years or so. I myself was baptised there in 1937.
